The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office has the responsibility of executing and or serving certain court-issued documents; namely Writs of Execution, Possession, Assistance, Attachment and Restitution. We also deliver non-writ process. We require a signed letter of instruction on all process we serve.

When sending WAGE & BANK GARNISHMENTS please be sure to include the following: 

  • Original Writ along with 2 copies 
  • Order for Continuing garnishment (If applicable) along with 2 copies 
  • Notice of Garnishment/Interrogatories Form along with two copies *

You must fill in the top of this form which includes: (1). District Court Number (2).Case Number (3).Plaintiff & Defendant Names 

  • Notice, Instructions, & Claim of Exemption Forms **

You must fill in the first two blanks on page 1 which is found on the Notice of Exemptions, & the top section of page 1 found on the Claim of Exemption Forms. 

  • Signed Letter of Instruction directed to the Bonneville County Sheriff 
  • Stamped envelope addressed to the defendant Extra Postage Required 
  • $40.00 service fee, made payable to the Bonneville County Sheriff 
  • (Bank garnishment only) $5.00 search fee required by the bank. Check must be issued to the bank
