Certified Patrol Deputy

Patrol

Responds to general emergencies related to crime, public safety, traffic accidents,
investigations and disturbances. Patrols, roadways, prepares comprehensive reports, handles a
variety of citizen complaints and public safety concerns. Participates in Search and Rescue,
provides 24 hour a day emergency response, communicates with citizens, suspects and co-
workers in a team environment for successful resolution of incidents.

Assists in civil process of paperwork and court orders.

Expected to pass and comply with Idaho POST standards for basic peace officer certificate.
