Requests for public records, case reports, crash reports, etc. can be made in writing by either:

  1. Visiting the Records office in the Law Enforcement Building located at 605 N. Capital  Idaho Falls, ID 83402
  2. Faxing a request to 208-529-1297
  3. Or sending an email to:

Please include as much identifying information as possible of the case or record you are requesting such as:

  • Case number
  • Date of occurrence
  • Location of occurrence
  • Names of persons nvolved

Please include the following contact information for the person or entity making the request:

  • Full name
  • Mailing address
  • Email address
  • Daytime phone number
