Just before midnight, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle near 1st St. and Ronglyn for a traffic violation.  Deputies identified the driver as 54 year old David Wayne Eisenberg and a male passenger provided a false name and birthday.  And Idaho Falls Police Officer who arrived on the stop was familiar with the passenger, identifying him as 29 year old Brandon Monson Jones and finding he was wanted on a Felony Warrant for Failing to Appear at a Court Hearing.

The IFPD Officer deployed his K-9 partner, who alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle.  Deputies searched the vehicle, finding multiple items and materials used for smoking Fentanyl pills.  When asked, Mr. Eisenberg admitted to being in possession of Fentanyl pills on his person.  Deputies recovered 2 Fentanyl pills from Eisenberg at that time.
