This weekend officially welcomed some of our newest Deputies during a swearing in ceremony, along with recognizing some very special people. Among those who are new to our team, Dep. Q. Bennett, K. Dalley, W. Johnson, L. Meiners, M. Salgado, S. Davis, J. Fenton, C. Henderson, Z. Roderick, and L. Willis. Sheriff Hulse recognized the promotions of Dep. Z. Graham to Lieutenant, and Dep. N. Contreras to Sergeant.

A special recognition from Prosecuting Attorney Bonneville County Idaho Randy Neal to Ret. Lt. Karl Noah with the Prosecutor’s Commendation, outlining his hard work putting together resources on a major case. Additionally BCSO and Sgt. J. Aeschbacher recognized Road and Bridge Operator Richard Miller, who worked tirelessly last winter keeping roads and access open during dangerous blizzard conditions for investigators to properly work a major crime scene.

Life Saving Awards were presented to several Deputies who were integral in reacting during emergency events that saved lives. Among those were Dep. A. Foster, B. Bottcher, D. Curtis, S. Redford, J. Miller, C. Rix, T. Smith, J. Crow, C. Sigman, and L. Willis. Good conduct awards were presented to Deputies M. Winn, A. Hinson, J. Anderson and A. Redford.

The Award of Excellence was presented to Lt. B. Johnson for his work with the IGNITE Program and Dep. A. Flegel for her duties handling all aspects Quartermaster Equipment duties. Dep. Ty Hall was presented the Distinguished Service Award for going the extra mile locating and returning lost money to the owner who did not know it was lost.

These are but a few examples of the great work our team does every day. We are excited for our new team members to join us in making a difference in our community!
