Sex Offender Registry

Individuals required to register as a sex offender under Idaho Law can visit this office to complete registry paperwork Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm (excluding holidays). For questions call 208-529-1350 ex. 1524.

Searching for Registered Sex Offenders:

There are two data bases containing the most accurate and up to date information on persons required to register that is free to the public.

NOTE: There are a variety of free and subscription websites that show registered sex offender information that is not guaranteed to be up to date or accurate. The below data bases contain verified information that is free to the public. Misuse of Sex Offender information to intimidate, harass, or harm others could result in criminal charges.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to provide OffenderWatch for the citizens of Bonneville County as it is the nation’s leading registered sex offender management and community notification tool. OffenderWatch is used by Law Enforcement to manage and monitor the whereabouts, conduct, and compliance status of registered sex offenders in Bonneville County and contains the most accurate and timely information available.

The OffenderWatch system contains a number of resources and safety information for the public that allows users to search for offenders, sign up for alerts of offenders who register in their area, and research safety tips and information.

Under the statute, maintaining a database of Registered Sex Offenders is the responsibility of the Idaho State Police (ISP). As persons register through their local Sheriff’s Office, the information is forwarded to ISP where it’s made available to the public at no charge for notification purposes.
