Felony Drug Arrest

March 24, 2025

NEWS RELEASE

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a woman yesterday (Mar. 23) after she was found trying to enter a residence that was not hers. At approximately 5:30pm Deputies were called to a residence in the 4700 block of Majestic View Dr. after the homeowner observed a woman trying to make entry into the residence and going through mail in the mailbox. Deputies arrived and found 45-year-old Kelli Anne Martinez walking from the rear of the house and placing mail in her vehicle. Ms. Martinez at first gave a false name and information regarding the reason she was there, which was confirmed by the homeowner who had been watching through the home security system. Deputies discovered the mail Ms. Martinez placed in her vehicle belonged to the homeowner as well.

Martinez was placed under arrest at that time and secured in a patrol car. Deputies located glass drug pipes in a purse Martinez was holding, along with approximately 5 grams of Methamphetamine in her vehicle.

Ms. Martinez was transported to the Bonneville County Jail where she was booked on charges for Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, and Misdemeanor Charges for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Stolen Property. Further charges for attempted Unlawful Entry are pending at this time.
