Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies and Idaho Falls Fire responded to a two vehicle injury crash on Lewisville Hwy (5th E) North of 97th N. just before 3pm this afternoon. Emergency Personnel arrived to find a pickup and a smaller car had collided head-on causing both to overturn. Both drivers had been ejected from the vehicles and there were no other occupants.

The driver of the pickup, a 21 year old male, was transported by ambulance to the hospital with severe injuries. The driver of the car, a 61 year old female, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Preliminary details from the scene indicate the pickup was south bound on Lewisville Hwy and crossed the center line colliding with the car traveling north bound. The Bonneville County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and the investigation is still ongoing.
