This week Bonneville County Sheriff Sam Hulse and the BCSO Team presented Jeremy Niebauer with the Sheriff’s Community Service Award, recognizing his efforts in rescuing a missing man last winter. Jeremy, a long time Bonneville County Parks and Rec. Employee, was working in the back country when he located a man who had been lost and was trying to walk out of the area for multiple days in the cold. After Jeremy got the man to safety he went back to the area and located his dog, nearly frozen to death from the cold, and brought him back to his family safe and sound.
