Burglary Suspects Arrested

February 9, 2026

NEWS RELEASE

Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two people last Saturday (Feb. 7th) involved in the Burglary of a storage unit. Deputies were called to storage units near 1st St. and Ammon Rd. Saturday morning where the victims discovered a large amount of their property had been taken, including a vehicle, furniture, and a number of personal items. Through investigation Deputies and the victims were able to retrieve security video from multiple nearby businesses and identify suspects and a pickup involved in hauling the property away.

Deputies went to a residence listed on the suspect vehicle’s registration in the 600 block of W. 19th St in Idaho Falls where they located the pickup with some of the stolen property still loaded in the back. While there the owner of the vehicle, 55-year-old Frank Ruben Addleman, drove by the area in a separate vehicle with a female passenger later identified as 45-year-old Kelly Lynn Dean. Deputies initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle as Mr. Addleman was parking and attempting to walk away from the vehicle and detained both subjects. Deputies noted both Addleman and Dean were wearing the same clothes identified in security video earlier. During this time Deputies located a container in the center console of the vehicle with just over 2 grams of Methamphetamine. Ms. Dean was also found in possession of just over 2 grams of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.

Both Addleman and Dean admitted to being involved in the theft of property in question and took Deputies to a separate storage unit where the stolen vehicle in question was taken. Mr. Addleman admitted to having knowledge of the Methamphetamine in his vehicle but denied it belonged to him or Ms. Dean.

Deputies were able to return the recovered stolen property and vehicle to the owners and will continue to investigate. Addleman and Dean were both taken to the Bonneville County Jail and booked for Burglary and Criminal Conspiracy. Addleman was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, a Felony, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ms. Dean was charged with Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.
