RE: Injury Hit and Run Incident
Regarding this case, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies were able to identify and contact the suspect driver involved in this crash. The driver, a juvenile, is cooperating with investigators and the case will be referred to the Bonneville County Prosecutors Office for appropriate charges.

RE: Injury Hit and Run Incident
Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies continue to investigate the Hit and Run Pedestrian Crash from last Tuesday evening. Tips and information have been coming in from the community however the identity of the suspect is still unknown. The victim is still being treated for injuries at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Deputies were able to obtain security video from nearby businesses, a portion of which has been released in hopes the person involved will come forward or tips leading to their identity will be revealed. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office through dispatch at 208-529-1200. RE: Injury Hit and Run Incident
Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies are seeking the public’s help in identifying a vehicle and suspect involved in an injury Hit and Run crash last night (Feb. 6th). Just after 8pm Deputies and Idaho Falls Fire responded to Derrold Ave. just east of 25th E. in Ammon where a severely injured man was found in the roadway. Deputies determined the man was struck as he crossed the street by a vehicle that was no longer on scene.
Deputies obtained security video from nearby businesses showing a dark colored extra cab pickup traveling East on Derrold Ave. that struck the man as he walked across the street. As bystanders stopped to help the victim the suspect vehicle left the scene before Emergency Personnel arrived.
The victim was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center with life threatening injuries. Deputies are continuing to investigate tips and information but are asking anyone who may have witnessed or has knowledge of the suspect involved in this crash to contact dispatch immediately at 208-529-1200.
