Current Openings:
Applications are currently being accepted for NEW or CERTIFIED JAIL DETENTION DEPUTY positions.
New Detention Deputy
- Starting wage approx. $51,000/yr. PLUS BENEFITS (base pay before add-ons such as shift differential and overtime).
- Increases to $57,000/yr. at certification
- NOTE: Average 6 1/2 year Detention Deputy, at Sr. Deputy status, with add-ons and overtime opportunities makes $83,000/yr!
Lateral/Certified Detention Deputy
- Starting wage approx. $59,000 – $66,000/yr. PLUS BENEFITS (depending on experience, and before add-ons like shift differential and OT).
ADD-ON incentive pay/benefits:
Shift Differential
- Additional .40 cents/hr. for nights, weekends, and holidays
Certifications
- Up to additional $2.80/hr.
Specialties
- One time additional .75 cents/hr. for instructors, specialty teams, certified second language

- New Patrol Deputy testing may be more than a year away.

- Starting wage is approx. $62,000 – $70,000/yr. PLUS BENEFITS (depending on experience, base pay before add-ons like shift differential and OT).
- NOTE: Average 5 year Patrol Deputy, at Sr. Deputy status, with add-ons and overtime opportunities makes $85,000/yr!

Depending on staffing needs,
- We typically fill most patrol positions from Certified/Certifiable Lateral applicants and Detention Deputies currently on our team.
- We are currently in background and hiring cycles for new patrol positions.
- While we focus on that, the next open testing for New Patrol Deputies may be more than a year away.
