Online crime reporting is intended as a way for the public to provide reports and information to Law Enforcement for certain incidents that are NOT IN PROGRESS. If you are unsure whether or not your crime or incident can be reported online, contact Bonneville County Dispatch at 208-529-1200.

The list below are crimes or events that can be reported to BCSO online: 

  • Alcohol Violations (not in progress DUI)

  • Animal Complaints

  • Assault – (not in progress)

  • Battery – (not in progress)

  • Child Custody Violations 

  • Civil Problems

  • Computer Crimes

  • Disturbances – (non-domestic in nature)

  • Forgery/Fraud

  • Gang Activity

  • Graffiti

  • Harassing Phone Calls

  • Identity Theft

  • Lost/Found Property

  • Ordinance Violations

  • Prowler

  • Suspicious Activity

  • Theft

  • Traffic Complaints

  • Trespass

  • Vandalism

  • Vehicle Burglary

  • Weapons Violations – (not in progress)

  • If the crime or event you wish to report is not on the above list, please contact Bonneville County Dispatch at 208-529-1200 and ask to speak with a Deputy.

Where did the crime happen?

  • If the crime took place WITHIN the city limits of Idaho Falls, ID
  • NOTE: The list of online reportable crimes or events accepted by the Idaho Falls Police Department may differ from those accepted by BCSO. 
  • Within Bonneville County, BUT outside the city limits of Idaho Falls, or; 
  • Within the City of Ammon, Iona, Ucon, Ririe, Swan Valley, or Irwin

  • Tips made through the East Idaho Crime Stoppers website remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
