Last night’s annual CIT Banquet recognized some very important people who make a difference in our community in the world of Crisis Intervention. BCSO Deputy M. Wall and Sgt. R. Flegel were recognized as CIT Deputies of the year, along with IFPD Off. A. Gonzales, IFPD ECC Off. Mechelle Grant, and IFPD’s Dallon Ball. The late Ken Morgan was recognized as the CIT Medical Professional of the year, the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission was recognized as CIT Community Partner of the year, and Derek Emery was recognized as the CIT advocate of the year. Lastly, Charity Clark was presented the Tracy Sessions Lifetime CIT Advocate Award for her hard work on the CIT steering committee and dedication to mental health services in the community. The CIT program continues to made a huge difference in our community and the people recognized last night are part of great things that continue to make a difference.
