RE: Sheriffs Call for Immediate Border Action

Citizens of Bonneville County,

As the Sheriff of Bonneville County, I add my voice with most of the Sheriffs around the nation concerned with the trends that are we experiencing at the borders and throughout our nation. Never in the history of our nation have we seen this level of illegal drugs, overdose deaths, and human trafficking. The criminal drug cartels are emboldened and operating with near impunity inside the United States and along the Southern Border.

Attached is a letter from the Nation’s Sheriffs. Please read this call to action that was issued on September 28, 2023. Please take the time to learn about this crisis and contact your Senators and Representatives to find out what they are doing to address the failed policies of the current administration.
