Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested three individuals yesterday after serving a search warrant at an Idaho Falls residence. Detectives from the Special Investigations Unit obtained the warrant for a residence in the 800 block of Masters Dr. as part of an ongoing drug investigation and arrived there at approximately 3:30pm to serve it. For safety purposes, the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team was utilized to help make sure the incident was contained to the residence in question.
After their arrival, Deputies detained 8 subjects who were found inside the residence. Detectives then conducted a search as outlined in the warrant, locating multiple items of Drug Paraphernalia and a small amount of Methamphetamine.
One of the detained subjects, 59 year old William T. Stevens, was transported to the Bonneville County Jail and booked for Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Two others, 44 year old Joel B. Herndon and 41 year old Jason W. Glover, were also arrested and booked into jail for Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The rest of the detained individuals were released at the scene and Detectives are continuing to investigate. No further information is available at this time.
