Two men arrested after call of suspicious behavior

NEWS RELEASE

Two men were arrested Saturday afternoon (Mar. 15) after Deputies responded to a call of suspicous behavior. At approximately 3:45pm Deputies located a vehicle with no plates parked on the side of the road in the 8000 W. block of 17th S. that was reported to dispatch by a passerby. As the Deputy approached, 43 year old Jason William Mann was observed frantically moving around in the vehicle as if he were hiding something. While talking with Mr. Mann, the Deputy observed needles and items of drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle, locating more items of drug paraphernalia as well as a container with two baggies of Methamphetamine weighing a total of just over 4 grams. Mr. Mann was placed under arrest at that time and transported to the Bonneville County Jail. A second Deputy waited on scene for a friend of Mr. Mann to arrive and take possession of the vehicle.

The friend who arrived was identified by the Deputy as 49 yar old Sean Mikel Kasper of Idaho Falls. A records check through dispatch found Mr. Kasper to be wanted out of Lincoln County Wyoming for an active Felony Warrant relating to a Delivery of a Controlled Substance charge.

Mr. Kasper was placed under arrest at that time and also transported to the Bonneville County Jail. Deputies booked Mr. Mann for Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Mr. Kasper for his outstanding warrant from Lincoln County, WY.
